HTC Hero - Exclusive To Orange UK

The HTC Hero is the third handset manufactured by HTC Corporation that is powered by the Android operating system.

Powered by the latest build of the Android platform, the HTC Hero is a fully touchscreen device that includes a number of software and hardware features never before seen on an Android phone.

The HTC Hero is the first Android handset to include built-in support for Adobe's Flash Player software. The fullscreen Flash Player support will enable users to playback Flash videos and play online Flash games through the handset.

Another first for an Android phone is the multi-touch capability include with the HTC Hero, along with a 3.5mm audio headphone jack - again, another first for an Android HTC phone.

The HTC Hero also features an industry first Teflon coated finish, along with a smudge-proof finish that will keep the handset chip, scratch, and fingerprint free.

The phone is available in an impressive graphite finish exclusively from the Orange UK network.

The HTC Hero is designed to offer incredible customisation and personalisation, and thanks to the HTC's custom built Android user interface the possibilities are endless.

The Hero is the first HTC phone to include their custom built software known as HTC Sense along with in-car charger compatibility and hardware. The HTC Sense user interface lets users place all kinds of widget information directly onto the Android home screen.
